Summer is approaching (we hope!) and with it, Sarcoma Awareness Week which runs from 3-9 July.

Sarcoma Awareness Week is a chance for us all to get together with family, friends, colleagues and our wider communities to raise sarcoma awareness and vital funds. To mark the week this year, we’re asking you to join in The Big Picnic!

You and everyone around the country can host a picnic in your community to raise funds for sarcoma research and support. You bring the sunscreen and sandwiches, we’ll support you all the way.

Getting involved is easy! The venue and format of the picnic is entirely up to you: it could be a family get-together, a BBQ in the park, some sandwiches with colleagues on your lunch break, or a fete with your local community group. Just invite your family and friends, bring some nibbles, and ask for donations.

They'll send you a Big Picnic Pack full of tips and advice, balloons, banners and even a picnic blanket. Renowned artist and printmaker, Magda Archer, has designed this quirky A3 poster (left) exclusively for Sarcoma UK supporters - which you will receive in your pack in June.

This Sarcoma Awareness Week we can all help to transform the lives of people affected by sarcoma.

Sign up to become a picnic champion today!
